Everyone knows that when you are creating an online presence or even running a business offline, you need to have the ability to captures leads. Some use List Building as a way to build a relation ship with their customers. You see this everyday from online to offline. Ever been to a store that they ask to put your on a mailing list or want your email address for coupons or promotions? They are using List Building.
Every internet marketing guru out there has a email list. It doesn’t matter what niche or what site. I recently placed a email list on my brother-in-laws tire and automotive site locally. I basically created a optin page using my aweber account. I then proceeded to tell them that they would get the inside track on special deals and savings by signing up on our email list.
Letting them know that being on a email list is like being a preferred customer in some elite vip club that will give them massive savings is there it is at. My email list started to grow like crazy. THIS WAS A AUTOMOTIVE TIRE REPAIR SHOP!! Crazy results!
So that lead me to think there has to be a better system out there for building a list for grizzled internet marketers like me. These are the guys (and gals) who have been in internet marketing for years and have seen every type of optin page and told every type of tactic to build a successful list. So how could you get into the know with these people and get them to optin to your list?
Well of course you want to be able to provide them with awesome new fresh ideas to keep them on your mailing list. Also, you want to be able to give them some incentive….
This is where I decided to pull up an old email sent by my friend Troy McDonald. I met him on the Warrior Forum asking for people to try out his ListCrew software. It was free and helped you grow a huge email list. It made sense to me to just give it a try. So how does it work?
You give them your autoresponder list name whether it be aweber or some other type of service. Take the code that they give you and place it on your site. Since there are tons of other people out there with the same code on their site. It displays a pop up message with several ads for other free and cool newsletters that you can subscibe or opt-in to as well. In internet marketing people know about adswaps and how crappy they can be at times to get someone to swap email list subscribers with you. This is a way to do it but on a fair and massive level!
Anyway, I thought this was a cool tool for all internet marketing or marketers out there who are focused more on the IM or bizop niche. Check it out below and grow your list!
