Starting up my own software business again! Expect some awesome stuff coming my way! Got my team together from a couple of years back and a bunch of ideas!! Can’t wait to get this going!! Stay tuned!!
Well another day has passed in my 38 years here on earth and it seems to never cease to amaze me how people can treat others the way they do especially children. Now more than ever people seem to be more into self justification and self righteousness. If we all just put ourselves in others shoes to help one another instead of put each other down, the world would be a better place.
Now more than ever, I am having to teach my daughter that people only are looking out for themselves and the only way to not be used up and washed out is to defend yourself and “don’t go all out” by helping others. Let’s see over past 3 years I got crapped out of business deals for software I have developed costing me over 200k forcing me to find keep in the workforce and find a higher paying job. Also de-friending a parent on Facebook for how they were talking to my wife.
Now more than ever I am realizing there are bigger things churning here. There are some changes that are having to be made now in order to achieve what I set out for.
Perseverance
Is my main goal.. To turn all this negative in a positive. I have decided to fire up my old business start back on some software and sell some of my old stuff. It is all a mindset really. A mind hack. I really don’t plan to just sit by and let the world get the best of me. This is what I want to teach my daughter the way to leave your mark on the world.
Goals
Being a Network Engineer in any field especially Healthcare you are always trying to prove yourself and the network. Why? It is always being blamed for everything. Not crappy written software or bad servers or the Layer 8 equation in between.
All this being said my goals are to improve my life, career and health this 38th year on earth. I want to teach my child Perseverance. I decided to sell a lot of blogs and domains and come back to this blog my very first on that purchased 10 years ago almost to the date! The goal is to blog daily about any damn thing I want daily and accomplish my own goals and fight my own inner demons.
Around 2002, I had to file bankruptcy to recover from my teenage and early years of destroying my credit. It was a nightmare which caused a lot of disruption within my family. However, the one thing that was one of the most valuable things I learned was how to recover from Bankruptcy within 2 years and have a 810 credit score. Credit card companies from everywhere were wanting to give me credit. I even was able to get a new house !
When it comes to getting your credit back on track you need to become aware of what you have on your credit and how to repair bad credit or remove negative entries on your credit report. The tactics I learned through programs like Credit repair doctor and some of the other forums out there was great!
You can learn how to use simple tactics and legal strategies and remove things like leans, judgements and other bad items. First thing is getting a “3 way” credit report from the 3 major credit reporting agencies. Experian, Transunion and Equifax are the places that creditors report to. The reason for this is the fact you could be getting reported on from a creditor on just one of the 3 and have bad credit with just for example Transunion.
After reviewing many different Credit Repair Programs out there. I realized the Credit repair doctor had all the tactics I used to repair my credit along with alway new and improved tactics to get things removed in a timely manner.
Things to think about…
The ability to clear your credit report in a short time.
There are many ways to really delete things on your credit report and it is all about timing. You have to know the right time to actually do certain tasks and delete negative credit
Being a father, I have always wanted to do the best and provide for my family. Coming from a broken home, I really didn’t know my father until I was in my mid to late 20′s. Not until I met my wife and her family did I realize how important it is to be a awesome father. My father-law was a awesome man. I remember my wife telling me when I first met him not to be alarmed if he didn’t like me. (She was really worried about that.)
When I walked in I realized I was going to be myself not put on any charade and learn to be myself. That night we actually hit it off and became really good friends.. Over the years he would teach me how to appreciate the moments you have right now. Always support your kids but teach tough love because it will save them a lot of heart ache in the future when they get older. He taught me that being a father is one of the biggest responsibilities that a man can have.
My father in law was a true father to his kids and to me. He would spend every penny he had to make sure his kids were happy. Always with awesome stories to tell and share about his family. It was the memories he tried to create and paint when he was with his familiy. The outcome was a beautiful canvas! On this Fathers Day. Remember all the great times you had whether on a family vacation or out in the yard doing chores. Now, I look I my daughter and try to take the lessons learned from him and apply some of that to my own fathering skills.
Happy Birthday Ray and Happy Fathers day on the first year you will be without us but your legacy will not be forgotten and the lessons you taught us while you were here. We celebrate fathers like you on this day. You inspire me to be a great father!
Time to do work again by getting certified. Even though I do not really believe in certifications, it is really good to have on your resume and the training helps you become more diversified in what you want to do. Lately, I have been interested in software development and internet security but what really needs to be done is to focus on recertification on CCNA and CCNP. This are Cisco certifications for those that are not tech savvy. Another certification of interest is the Palo Alto Networks CNSE which over the past year I have actually grown to love PAN Application Firewalls. Well let the studying begin!! Going to try and kick this blogging thing into full gear stay tuned soon!
Openflow seems to be the future, of the networking world as we see more and more technologies merge. Networking will need to know more about server administration and storage as more virtualization of networks begin to happen. I see Spanning Tree being replaced by Trill eventually and the access layers switches become more like 2k Fabric extenders. We can see some of the virtualization now with Juniper and Cisco Nexxus Data center switches.
Being in the network security industry , I find this very similar to the Carnivore program back in the day, where government was wanting boxes or ability to place and data taps back in the name of terrorism. We will see where this goes. It is scary that Verizon is wanting to Patent the idea.
The biggest problem was Government just walking in facilities and placing taps without proper paperwork such as subpoenas ect… This caused all kinds of legal issues with big carriers such as AT&T being sued for not policing government agencies.
